Lethbridge's 2nd Annual Rescue Fest

Last year, we participated in Lethbridge's first annual Rescue Fest sponsored by the Lethbridge Animal Shelter. Rescue Fest features multiple local animal rescues, even as far as Taber! We were pleased to be invited to the second annual Rescue Fest and joined them at the Animal Shelter on July 6th. The turnout was even better than last year!

Archie's brought some adoptable animals to the event, including Luca and Phish (bunnies), Soup (ball python), and Pebbles (box turtle). We also had a couple of Archie's Rescue Ambassadors around to say hello: Cheeto (bearded dragon lizard) and Phillipe (tarantula). Several board members and other volunteers were available to answer questions and visit with guests. We love educating people on exotic animals (with our favorite being bunnies, of course)! We also promoted fostering, adopting, volunteering in variety of positions, and our current 50/50 cash raffle. We even had brochures for those that wanted to take some information home with them.
