Small Mammals

Owning a small mammal is a big responsibility, even though the animal itself might be tiny.

 

The most common small mammal pets are:

  • Chinchillas

  • Ferrets

  • Gerbils

  • Guinea Pigs

  • Hamsters

  • Hedgehogs

  • Sugar Gliders

Reptiles/Other Exotics

If you want to adopt a reptile for your child, it is recommended that a bearded dragon or ball python is best, because they are less fragile, slower moving and tend to not jump like geckos can.
